My dogs ear got hurt, I have been cleaning with ear drops and cotton swabs. Do I need to do anything different? It’s also scratching it with its paws. Can someone please suggest me.

I have been to a doctor and there is no injury, doctor said might be because of water entering the canals and ear not cleaned deeply. Asked to use ear drops after cleaning ear daily, will be doing that. Thanks
