Graphic image added I have a 4 year old female lab. She is currently in heat and has swelling in her vulvar area. It looks a little abnormal. Is it a sign of infection?

The vulval swelling will there when pets are in heat
But if any mass comes out of vagina then we call it vaginal prolapse
