Hi! My female lab 1 year 3 months now had her first heat on 2nd July, 2023. When should we be prepared for her next heat? Is there a regular cycle patterns in dogs? If yes, then Maggie should be having her heat by now but she hasn't had her heat yet.

Hi Swati. The heat cycle varies with every breed. Some, especially small breeds come to heat twice to thrice a year whereas larger breeds once to twice in a year. So, you can expect her to have heat again within 4/5 months.

My dog vomited this morning, and there was something green that seemed like a piece of cloth. Also, he also vomited similarly yesterday, but without any green substance, cloth, or plastic. A rescuer has rescued 9 puppies alone and keeping them at home . She has 2 other dogs she cannot keep them any longer decided to leave them back . 2 are at foster home .
