I have one year old Golden Retriever mix bred doggy. He is not neutered and since he is a mix bred, no option for mating. He is getting aggressive about humping day by day. How feasible it is to get him neutered? Can someone please help me with the pros and cons?

Hello. Yes, you can definitely go ahead with neutering. The advantages are 1. It increases the life expectancy. 2. Neutered males have a reduced risk of testicular cancers and prostate problems. 3. Neutering keeps control of hormonal changes thus by reducing aggressive behavior and they are less likely to show biting tendency.
4. Behavioral patterns like humping, mounting, or urine spraying also get controlled.

The disadvantage include weight gain. If diet and activity levels are managed, this might not become a problem.
