Heyy doctor! My 15 months old female dog, "PARLIE", is not having any meals for last 4-5 days. She has also decreased the amount of having water. She literally doesn't want to have anything currently, not even her favourite foods. I gave liver tonic too. She hasn't vomited also, just doesn't want to have foods. Kindly please suggest me something to help the dog.

Hi! Has she not eaten anything at all? Any other symptoms like lethargy, drooling or change in pee colour?

Yes, she doesn't want to eat anything and yes, lethargy is the another symptom that I have noticed. It's not drooling till now. And also she is not peeing like a normal day.. Like only 2-3 times daily and I haven't noticed the colour.

I would suggest to get her physically checked by vet for proper diagnosis as she is not eating at all. There could be fluid imbalance and might need fluid if she is dehydrated. Loss of appetite might be due to some underlying conditions, finding that out will be necessary for any further treatment.

Hi, if she hasn't been eating at all please get her physically checked like doctor mentioned . If required get a few tests done like a basic blood test to be sure about her general health. If everything is ok get her checked for pseudo pregnancy if she is not neutered already. Also you can give her some treats with her food to flavour her food to stimulate some appetite
