Hii There is query. I have 2 month old Shihtzu. Already 2 vaccination done. Next vaccination is on 19th May, 2024. Today while playing accidentally he hit me on my index finger, blood stain is there. Do I need to take vaccine? Last year November Month I have taken rabies vaccination due to bite by a stray dog . That time 5 doses I have taken. Please let me know whether I have to take Or not

Hello. Yes, I would advise you to get post bite vaccination as Anti rabies vaccination for your pet might not have been completed plus the history before you got him would be unknown. Since you were already vaccinated in last November, medical doctor might suggest 3 doses as per the new guidelines.

Can i take the vaccine within 24 hours post bite? Yesterday at 6.30 pm, it happened. Today can i take within 6.30pm?
