Our Maya recently got into her first heat, and here are a few tips that Kuddle vets shared with us to take the best care of her! 👉 Contrary to common misconception, not all female dogs get cuddly during their heat. It’s important to understand what your doggo really wants from you and give them whatever they need whether it’s space or extra kuddles! 👉 Investing in good quality doggy diapers is very important. Vulvas swell up before/during heat, and Dogs clean up after themselves, excessive licking of the vulva can cause irritation and infections and hence, diapers are preferred. Cheap quality diapers can also cause discomfort and infections, so pick your doggy diaper brand wisely! 👉 Keep the environment calm. Provide her with her favourite food, treats, favourite toys, everything she loves. Hello doctor, My Simba has recently recovered from parvo virus infection. From past 2-3 days he mildly vomits 2 or 3 times a day and yesterday he had food only at night. His motion is normal. Today as well he has not eaten from morning. Please suggest if this is after effects when recovered from the infection and how to treat this.
