Can ringworm in cat spread to us once we start to give medicine for them?

Hi Merlin. Ring worm infection is zoonotic and spreads easily to human beings when one comes in direct contact with affected cat or dog. Hence, whenever you are treating( applying the ointment) the lesions, one should wear gloves or wash the hands thoroughly.

Hey all, looking for an urgent foster for a 2.5 month old male indie pup. He gets along great with both dogs and cats, is yet to be vaccinated, and needs to find an adopter/*urgent* foster on or before the 20th. Please reach out if you think you can help and it would mean a lot! TIA

Seeing this inflamed/swollen area in my pup since a couple days, applied ice to reduce inflammation and it works for a while and seems to give him relief. But it's bleeding a little bit, I noticed this morning when I saw blood on his paw. I could see a slight cut mark yesterday, can't see it today. Any suggestions on what should I do?
