Eating/drinking too fast can cause hiccups. Pets getting hiccups and lasting for few minutes is absolutely normal. But, if it's continuous/constant consult a veterinarian for further investigations. For now, give water with honey and massage pet's chest and throat to stimulate swallowing. Regular walking may help too.
