My 1 year old beagle keeps eating paper, cardboard, cotton and plastic. Is it a sign of something? Also he tucks his lips under his teeth. He has come from an unstable environment. Can I help him in some way? If there are any special chew toys, or any supplements that I can give him, that can help him calm down, please suggest. Please suggest some solution for this.

If your pet has nutritional deficiencies, he may crave for non food items s.a., paper...Depletion of minerals can leave ur pet crave for paper like substances..

Or if a pet suffers from endocrine disorders s.a., Diabettes or cushings , it can cause ur dog to ferl more hungry ..your pet may find things to eat that are non food items esp. if food bowl is empty...

Biting is also common in puppies until around 8 - 9 months...

Hello experts, When can I start socialising my pup with other pups? She's about 9 wks old now. And 3rd round of vaccination is in next 2 weeks. I take her for very short walks within the apartment, but the moment she hears a dog barking somewhere she gets pretty scared and tries to get back to home. Is socialising with other pups too early now given the pending vaccinations?

My dog is 9.5 years old (will be 10 this June). On late feb he fell severely sick (unable to walk/get up, not eating or drinking). He put his head down and started walking circles, wall pressing, not sitting or sleeping and behaving very unusual and we took him to vet immediately. It's been almost a month and he still shows symptoms like this. At first the doctor told it's ckd and he got better after a course of anti biotics. But the same symptoms of walking in circles, head stumbling and lack of sleep is back again. This time the vet suspects it's vestibular problem. Idk what's wrong with him. Any clue on what might be happening or what i should be expecting from the vet and the situation?
