Canine Distemper is highly contagious viral disease affecting dogs. It targets multiple organ systems and is fatal for 80% puppies and 50% dogs. There is no cure for this disease. Garima Solanki, a dedicated software engineer, found her true calling in rescuing dogs. For over a decade, she selflessly cared for them but her desire to make a larger impact led her to Anca, an experienced shelter worker. Together, they identified a crucial gap: dogs with canine distemper lacked adequate care due to their contagious nature. Determined to change this, they pooled their savings and founded the Bangalore Distemper Centre and their journey has only begun. Now, they require support to continue their noble cause, ensuring every sick dog receives the care and love they deserve.
