Madhu

My dog had umblical hernia surgery back in February 2024 I see a small leison next to the operated area which he constantly licks these days and same time he got netutered too. He licks the operated area as if he is in pain. The same behavior(whining and licking) we used to observe when he was in pain before getting operated. Could you please let me know what it is and why ? Anyway am going to consult his surgeon in two days as he is out station now.

Hi Madhu. It looks like a lacerated wound, which must have happened due to frequent biting and licking. The chances of reoccurrence are higher if he is constantly licking the operated area. It’s best to use a neck cone to avoid self biting until you see his surgeon.

Hello - My dog was sleeping and woke up suddenly and started sneezing constantly. What might be the reason? Should we take her to a vet or is there any home remedies?

Hello, my pet Dunzo has developed red spots near his genital area where he urinates. Is it safe to use Cantinea powder for this issue? If not, could any vet please recommend an alternative solution?

Hi! Hi! my tenant rescued an abandoned pup a week ago in Bangalore and we tried to get him adopted with no luck. He’s a 9 month old male pup, extremely friendly and needs a family. Please reach out if interested.
