Hi! Reccurence of pseudo pregnancy is common in intact female dogs. It does resolve itself in 2-3 weeks. If the symptoms are severe like milk production, aggression etc then medicine like cabergolin can be considered. Spaying the female after the pseudo pregnancy episode is the most effective way to prevent any future recurrence.

If the symptoms are not severe then putting a t-shirt or e collar to prevent her from licking her nipples and discouraging nesting behaviour and providing lots of excercise can help in resolving the issue.

Hi, pseudo pregnancy can be very stressful and if it is happening everytime she comes into estrus I would suggest getting her neutered. If symptoms are really bad there are hormone based treatment, that you can discuss with your veterinary doctor and let the attending doc decide whether or not it's required for her for now.

I have seen a few posts mentioning about dogs not eating food. This video will certainly help - Just the way we humans prefer fresh food, our pets also love having fresh food. Take some time out every day to cook fresh veggies every day. I Boil carrots, beans, sweet potatoes , potatoes, 1 spoon rice and 1 spoon dal , 1 boiled egg and half spoon oil for 4-5 whistles. Don't restrict to these vegetables alone. I keep changing the veggies.. like - peas , disco pumpkin, cabbage etc Add 3 spoons of your kibble to make it crunchier. Trust me, Leo never had an issue with the food. He eats every single part of the meal twice a day 😋

Hey Doctors! I was wondering if it's okay to give WHISKEY (2-month-old poodle) some boiled chicken liver and chicken heart as part of his meal? Also, Whiskey seems bored of Orijen, can you recommend any good alternatives to replace one of his daily meals with Orijen? PS: Sleeping on his best posture right now 😂😂😂
