Hi Smriti. Wound should be shaved first and cleaned thoroughly with Povidone iodine solution then apply Povidone iodine ointment. Use syrup Himpyrin for pain. He also requires an antibiotic. Post bite anti rabies vaccination is must. I would highly recommend you to see a vet as early as possible.

Any tips to help my pup during the upcoming noisy festival. Planning to put her in a closed room with her toys and ac on with me from 6 pm. She's not very scared for light sounds, but she whines a bit on loud crackers. Not sure what else I can do, some of my neighbours celebrate till 11pm. Thanks
