Pet licencing is not compulsory in India but you can get your pet registered with BBMP or KCI. BBMP registration can be done locally at the nearest BBMP office, this is generally required for pet insurance. KCI registration is done through the agency and is quite a hectic procedure, unless you are planning to take your pet for a dog show /planning to breed him this would not be necessary at all.
