Our pup, Imli has been extremely dull and sleepy. She has been eating her food and is currently 9 weeks old. But the energy she was showing in the initial 3-4 days when we got her has suddenly reduced. She isn’t running around, just extremely slow, suddenly sleeping or lying down for long hours and yawning a lot. She has possibly nibbled on random dry leaves, mud and plastic on our terrace.

Hi sir..Puppies at 7 to 8 weeks old need 18 to 20 hours of sleep in a 24 period for normal mental and physical development. During puppyhood their bodies develop at a fast pace. It takes a lot of energy for the bones, muscles and brain to develop.. Their sleep is strongly polyphasic they alternate short periods of feeding and activity with sleep throughout the day.

If your pet shows any other clinical signs like vomiting, diarrhoea or if the abdomen is bloated or painful, pale gums...Kindly schedule an appointment with vet.
