I have a 6 months old shih tzu.he wakes up at erratic hours in the morning everyday sometimes at 3 am or 4 /430 am even at 230 am sometimes also to go out and poop and urinate and doesn't do at home.it is causing lot of sleepless nights for us.How to stop this and make the schedule more normal for us as well as him.

Hi Ritwik. There are several reasons for it. 1. It happens due to excessive energy levels. Keep him engaged throughout the day so that he gets tired and sleeps well and doesn’t get bored early in the morning. 2. Check if he is scared of anyone or anything. If so, it has to be eliminated. 3. Pets need attention, again keep him engaged throughout the day. 4. See if he needs to poop or pass urine. Get it done before bed time. Ultimately train your pet traccordingly.

He is very energetic and wants to go out everytime he has had food to poop and urinate.Morning he wakes up little late to take him out if he has been taken out before bedtime but it's just 30-40 mins difference may be.

My 10 month old Maltese pup keeps having recurrent stomach upsets and is a very picky eater...i tried to identify what would cause these upsets and was wondering,do doggie treats like pedigree jerkys sometimes cause these upsets?
