Hello doctor, My Simba has recently recovered from parvo virus infection. From past 2-3 days he mildly vomits 2 or 3 times a day and yesterday he had food only at night. His motion is normal. Today as well he has not eaten from morning. Please suggest if this is after effects when recovered from the infection and how to treat this.

Hello doctor, I am giving him royal canin gastrointestinal dry food and sucralpet 2 times a day and vkap before meals. Was giving him probiotic powder with food but didnt give from yesterday

I would suggest to continue giving him probiotics. As his gastrointestinal lining is still recovering from the parvovirus infection, it might take few more days to fully recover. May I know when does he vomit and the content of the vomit.

He vomits normally in the morning. Content is foamy and light brown.

If the vomiting persisits you can give Emikind pet syrup 3 ml orally twice daily 15-20 min before food. If the vomiting stops then no need.
