My team, my friend lab 4years old got fever from yesterday...it got drenched in rain and today having fever and his body seems to be hot...can u suggest any medicine to reduce the fever

Hi, I need to travel with my cat in a domestic flight because we are moving cities. My cat is always anxious about stepping out of the house and he also cries if we take him out. In this case, is it okay to sedate him during the flight to keep him comfortable? Or will it pose any danger to him?
