Hi! While checking, my 11 month old female lab had tiny drops of fluid come out of her nipples after squeezing them. She is not spayed yet and has had her 1st heat after which her mammary glands have bulged out a little as compared to before heat. What could be reason for the same?

If you are certain she has not mated at all in her last heat/ estrus cycle this is pseudopregnancy/ false pregnancy. It's a hormone mediated condition which can cause lactation, associated with certain behavioral changes such as increased guarding behaviour and nesting. Some females will also should lack of appetite. In most cases it is self resolving and doesn't require intervention.

She had 1st heat in July. The colour of fluid is white or seems to be pale yellow (not very sure). It is transparent and not milky. Also, she has been humping especially at night time before she sleeps. Energy and appetite seems to be usual.
