My dogs ear got hurt, I have been cleaning with ear drops and cotton swabs. Do I need to do anything different? It’s also scratching it with its paws. Can someone please suggest me.

Grooming long haired breeds at home is not recommended as it is difficult to rinse out the shampoo completely, and it can lead to matting. If the coat is not dried properly, the moisture gets trapped which can cause infections. And using a human dryer to dry the coat is a complete NO-NO as it can dry out the skin. If you don't have specialised equipments, products and required grooming skill, it's recommended to opt for professional grooming for a thorough cleaning and comfort.
