My cat burnt both her hind legs last week and she's recovering well, but she doesn't like being around us anymore... She stays inside our storeroom in our backyard and very reluctantly comes inside the house when there's another big cat. She prefers staying in a small cramped room with no windows rather than coming inside the house with us. I'm trying to give her time so that she feels comfortable around us, but I feel like this is all making her more distant to us. This is sad in all the ways ☹️

Pets tend to withdraw themselves when they are feeling unwell. The kitten would also feel sacred around family because you would be giving her meds/ cleaning her wound she would not understand it's for her good. She would get scared to come out thinking you will give her medications again. Give her a few days once her pain reduces she should start interacting with you again.

my 7month old pup has become a fussy eater. he eats properly every alternate day and leaves a large portion of his food behind otherwise. Is this a normal tendency in dogs? how do I make him eat more regularly? His activity levels, poop and water intake are regular. no changes in that. I’m usually feeding him rice and vegetables in morning and kibbles by evening. Snacks and treats are very limited during the day.
