It could be due to mineral deficiency in your pets diet. Provide him balanced nutrition（commercial food）..If he is on home food...you can give him suppliments..Make sure you deworm your pet regularly...Distract your pet when it starts eating dirt with a verbal comand or by offering a toy to chew ..Leash your dog when you go utside, lead them away from aread with exposed soil...

My 7 month shih Tzu has vomited twice in morning in past 4 days. We are giving Rantac before food and Metrogyl after food twice a day 1 ml each. This morning we again saw white foamy vomit in his bed and gave the rantac. Afterwards he is not eating anything but drinking water. His stool is normal and so are his activities. We tried giving pumpkin, curd and his treat biscuits but he just puts in his mouth and then out. Should we be worried?

my 7month old pup has become a fussy eater. he eats properly every alternate day and leaves a large portion of his food behind otherwise. Is this a normal tendency in dogs? how do I make him eat more regularly? His activity levels, poop and water intake are regular. no changes in that. I’m usually feeding him rice and vegetables in morning and kibbles by evening. Snacks and treats are very limited during the day.
