My dogs are not eating well ! Consulted doctors and they suggested tonics ! What could be possible cause ? What should I do ?

If they have been checked in detail(preferably with some blood tests) and the doctor is certain that they are healthy, you can try flavouring their food by adding a few drops of coconut oil, olive oil or butter in small amounts to improve palatability. You can also try cooking their food in a different way,eg bake instead of pressure cooking. You can add a few leaves of coriander or mint and also a few herbs like a pinch of coriander powder/origano to improve the taste. You should also work on training them

Thanks I have done blood tests recently nd nothing major in reports ! Will try to change some flavour though!

Yesterday we bought 4months old shihtzu puppy. He is eating and drinking properly but not active at all. Not responding properly. If I am giving him treat he is eating but he is not making an effort from his side to take the treat. Tried taking him for walk but he is sitting in one corner and sometimes shivering. Hello! I recently picked up my pet from home boarding on Monday. He's had loose motions since Tuesday. This happens every time I drop him for boarding and when I take him back. I'm giving him gutwell powder with both his meals since Wednesday (missed with one meal). It seems to be improving very slowly, he's still passing loose stool. What else can I do?
