A friendly stray in the area keeps itching her ears and as a result a lot of the fur by her ears has fallen. Is there any tablet I can give? It's just by her ears and she doesn't itch anywhere else.

It looks like malasseziosis though. But need some more information. Is it scabby? Or has the skin become rough? Also check for the similar lesions on inner part of ear pinna.

The area seems soft. There's no scanning, just these darkish patches. I tried looking for similar lesions inside her ears but didn't see any however I know that she tries to itch inside her ear as well.

Ok. As I mentioned above, it looks like Malasseziosis which is a fungal infection and it needs a proper treatment. You can book an appointment with a vet.

I just came across the information that stairs are bad for puppies! The internet says that large breeds develop hip issues if they are introduced to stairs before twelve weeks. But father has been encouraging my puppy to climb up and down the stairs in our house from as early as 6 weeks!! There are days when my puppy takes three flights of stairs thrice! I’m really worried, is there anything I can do at this point to avoid such problems in future?
