After the first periods, which takes about anytime between 10 days to sometimes 25 days. She is ready to get Neutered. She will still get her periods but will not be able to get pregnant. I hope this helps.

Recovery varies, depending on the dog, care taken and weather. She will be distressed for the first week, their behavior is a good indicator of whether the internal healing is done.

Hi! It would be better to wait 1-2 months after the first heat cycle for spaying. Atleast 2 weeks of monitoring and care would be required after the surgery. You might observe some drowsiness from the anaesthesia in your dog for the first few hours. You can provide a quite place for them to recover from the anaesthesia. After about 2 days your dog might be back to normal but restrict from any jumping, running or heavy activities for the dog as it may cause rupture of the stitches.

Regular checking of the wound for any swelling, redness or discomfort is also required to treat any infection if that ever happens. Moreover before the surgery a full check up will be done by the vet and a through post surgery management will be explained by the vet.

Hey my dog has eaten 6 to 8 grapes today. It’s been couple of hours now and he is fine at the moment. Is it life threatening, should I take him to vet ?

Strictly Bangalore adoption appeal only . Kindly read before applying , we will not respond back if your form doesn’t suit requirements . Meet cookie ! Cookie is a 4-5 month old female labrador . She is vaccinated and dewormed . She was rescued from a abusive family who kept her chained outside in the sun without food and water . Cookie, is a typical happy puppy . She loves to meet new people , extremely friendly with other dogs, and has very high energy . We’re looking for a family who can keep up with her energy and lifestyle and give her the love she deserves . Cookie would fit in a house with an even tempered old dog . She has missed out a lot on her socialisation . We’ve started training her for basics such as potty pee training and basic obedience . The adopter will have to continue the training . She needs to be neutered at a given age , or we have all the rights to take her back . Under no conditions she is to be mated . Spaying is MANDATORY. If you don’t believe in spaying or your other hous
