Hello, Can I give Meloxicam to my senior dog on a long term basis? He has osteoarthritis. I used to give the tablet to him whenever he seemed in pain (limping, loss of appetite).of late, it's happening more frequently. When I stop giving the tablet, he again starts showing all these issues within 2-3 days. He takes Meloxicam easily and also responds well. If I can give it to him long term let me know for how long.
