Yes. It is an endemic and highly contagious disease. It easily spreads from one dog to the other. A pet has to be vaccinated against parvovirus as a part of prevention. The first vaccine is given at the age of 4-6 weeks followed by 2 booster doses at an interval of 21 days each. Kindly get your pet vaccinated.
