Hi, yes please mating is not specifically important for them. If you want to have pups from sentimental point of view you can mate him otherwise medically it's not important for you to mate before you get him neutered.

Thank you. There's a 15 years Pomeranian beside our house and from past 2 weeks my dog is showing very serious behavioural issues to allow him near that Pomeranian(female). We tried for mating but didn't find any. And he's not eating well also since these issues started. So we wanted to neuter him immediately to stop these.

Please suggest if I can do anything to make him eat. He's only drinking water not eating anything. Not even showing interest to eat treats which he like the most
