My pet(9month old golden retriever mix) is licking his paw a lot since morning and he is only getting aggressive towards licking as time goes. I checked for ticks/fleas/injuries. I found nothing. What might be the reason?

Hi. The causes why dogs lick their paws include, bacterial infection/fungal infection/ injury/ectoparasites/stress/anxiety/boredom. As you have already checked and ruled out few of the reasons, it's also important to rule out bacterial or fungal infection with an aid of cytology. If you suspect boredom or anxiety better spend more time by talking him on walks more frequently than usual plus provide chew toys to divert his mind. Give treats to trick him.
