my 2 months old puppy sting his tooth on my index finger yesterday while playing. He is with me from past 15 days. He never went out and came in contact with any other dog or animal. First vaccination is done on 45th days. Do i need to take rabies vaccine?

Pre-exposure Antirabies vaccination is must for all pet parents. If you are not sure about the pet history before you bought it, it is advisable to take ARV. Just to add, the rabid animal bite is never provoked and the animal will have behavioural changes.

Once Pre bite vaccination is fully done in humans, booster dose should be taken once a year. Same is applicable in pets as well

My dog has been diagnosed with acute pancreatitis. She was pooping blood every 15 mins. She’s in hospital. Since last 23 hours she hasn’t pooped or vomited blood. Docs said if she’s fine till tomorrow evening she will be discharged. She is a 3 year old indie. Am very scared. Will this impact her longevity? Is there chance of it recurring? How can I prevent this
