my dog simbha ( beagle ) is suffering from one side 9f face severe itching and many vets consulted but no good response,can u suggest me what can be done?

My Shihtzu is 5.5 months old, apparently he has little bit of itching due to ticks or skin infection. Is it recommended if we can get him 2MM trim. As his hair is too much, we are unable to search ticks properly. Also doctor recommended for the trimming yet I wanted to have a second opinion on the same, as I have heard you shouldn’t trim untill 8 months.

Hi Mehal, anyhow trimmming in pets is recommend after 5-6 months of age. But if there’s matting/skin infection, trimming is advisable if it’s necessary for the trimming. But also consider the cold weathers and keep your pet warm post trimming.
