Cats are return feeders and are generally free fed. Parents keep dry food available throughout the day for them to have wherever they feel hungry. Wet/fresh food can be offered as two meals in the day. Wet/fresh food should not be left out for more than 30-40 mins, because it tends to perish fast. Quantities would depend on the type/ brand of food that you are using, the pack would usually have a specification chart that you can refer to. Hello, my 16 month old golden retriever seems to have developed a lump on the side just below his ribs. This is the first time I'm noticing it so it must have developed over the last couple days or so. It seems to be beneath the skin (nothing visible over the skin) and movable while examining. Could you please suggest what to do? It doesn't seem to pain or affect him at this point.
