Our toy poodle, Rio (about 54 days old), isn’t drinking enough water on his own. When we put RO water in his bowl, he avoids it. He avoids eating kibble when there is too much water in it and just doesn’t take cerelac. When the kibble is a bit more dry (after soaking it in water), he is eating. What can we do to get him to have more water voluntarily?

Hi Jaishankar. Puppies don’t consume good amount of water until 3-4 months of age. You can anyhow try mixing little amount of chicken broth into water/get a dog water fountain available in the market/put 3-4 plastic balls bigger than the size of your pets mouth in the water bowl(while playing with it, they tend to consume more water).

Just came to know that dogs cannot eat corn cobs, my dog ate a piece of it last month. Should I be worried?
