Whenever I leave my dog with my room mate he is always super dull, inactive and stops eating. Is it that he doesn't feel safe around him?

Hi sir..If you pet refuses to eat when you are not around but if if eats the entire meal once you are back home..Chances are that they feel anxious and stressed when you leave your pet...

Try to ease him and take positive action to prevent seperation anxiety...Leave a special toy..Make sure your pet has exciting things to do when you are not with them..You can start training ..Begin by encouraging your dog to go to their bed ..leave them for a short period...Reward your dog for remaining quietly in tgeir bed...Take you pet for regular walks oonce your pet is vaccinated..

Hi, in addition to that you should also let your roommate interact with the pup even when you are around. You can let your roommate give him food and treats occasionally, to win his trust. At this age the pup should be able to overcome this easily. Make sure you let the pup go to him by choice and let it not be forced. If the pup starts resisting and cries to come to you I would suggest letting your roommate handle for a little longer and not taking over otherwise the pup would start doing it even more.

A 5-month-old Labrador retriever is currently available for adoption in Bangalore. This adorable and intelligent puppy has received basic training and is also potty trained. Unfortunately, due to our inability to provide the care we desired, we have made the decision to help him find a loving home. This Labrador is an original breed and comes with a breed certificate. If you are located in Bangalore and are interested in providing a forever home for this wonderful puppy, please don't hesitate to contact me at 85539 37409. Thank you for considering adoption and providing a better future for this lovable Labrador.

Hello doctors/pet parents, I have a male shih tzu, 4 months old. For the first time i introduced chicken with veggies to him in small portions 2 times a day (approx 60 gms in total). On the same day i feeded quinoa (also first time) with veggies, 1 egg, kibbles etc (his daily meal plans throught out the day). Due to change in food, he had diarrhea and loose motion 5 times. I gave him pumpkin today and seems its subsided, he hasn't pooped yet. I think i might have overfed him on the day of introducing chicken. Should have done in phases and gradually. i believe quinoa (due to high fiber) might have caused the loose motion or may be chicken itself. So my question - when can i next introduce chicken to him again? Thanks.
