Cats are return feeders and are generally free fed. Parents keep dry food available throughout the day for them to have wherever they feel hungry. Wet/fresh food can be offered as two meals in the day. Wet/fresh food should not be left out for more than 30-40 mins, because it tends to perish fast. Quantities would depend on the type/ brand of food that you are using, the pack would usually have a specification chart that you can refer to.
