Hi!
I have a few doubts regarding diet of a 4 month old labrador:
1. Is chicken necessary in their diet or we can substitute it with vegetarian alternatives that act as a good protein source?
2. Should chapati (multigrain flour) be fed to them?
3. What quantity of ghee should be provided in a single day?

1. Meat is a very important part of a canine's diet especially at this age when the pup is growing, substituting it completely with vegetarian proteins would not be a very good idea because the quality of protein is not as good. Egg would be a good alternative. As an adult they can manage quite well with a well balanced high protein vegetarian diet but I would not suggest that for a young growing puppy.

2. Wheat/ gluten allergies/ hypersensitivities are common but not all dogs have a problem with this food source. I would suggest you give small servings for a few days(5-7 days) to understand if your pup is tolerant towards it before you make it a part of this regular diet. Multi grain would generally be better than plain wheat.
3. Ghee can be added in very moderate amounts ( a few drops in every meal). Also make sure your pup is ok with dairy proteins if you are using ghee or any other milk products.
