To control ticks and fleas the options are as follows - tickfree powders or sprays tickfree shampoos Spot on Tablets like bravecto or simparica or nexguard can be used

If the pet comes in contact with the infested pet or the place where the tick eggs are laid they get attached to the body and then convert to larval stage then to the adult stage
