Can dogs saliva give a allergic reaction? I have got a pimple reaction on the face due to licking of my dog.

Hello My Indie Boy, 16 months since evening is accumulating green colour mucus in his right eye and the eye also seems watery. Been cleaning repeatedly. What could this be, pls advice.

Clean his eye with dry cotton and put ciplox d eye drops 3 drops in each eye
But if the watering doesn't stop better to take him to a vet tomorrow

I've updated post with photo taken today morning. Still mucus is there, watering reduced. Shall I continue drops
