Hi I have a one year old male golden retriever… so we happen to travel and gave max for few weeks for boarding… he came back home healthy but there are quite changes in his behaviour like when we touch him gently he starts growling even when I feed him food he starts growling and tries to bite .. he’s feeling very low and while he is sleeping he is making noise as he might have bad dreams and I try to comfort him tooo… also in the boarding he wasn’t socialize because they have individual playtime for each and every pet and they keep each pet separate … I am really concerned because he never behaved like this anytime … even before we gave max to boarding that time he was fine .. but when max came from boarding they told me max is having some diarrhoea and gave me a tablet now it’s fine … can you let me know what happened .. should I ve to take him for check up .. m so worried.

Hi Nikhitha. Such change in the behaviour could have happened due to separation anxiety. Growling could be a reason due to pain or discomfort. Gastric upset post boarding is not uncommon ( A strict advise not to change diet to the concerned person is necessary). Overall, considering his behavioural changes, I would suggest you to either speak to a vet online or get him thoroughly examined by a vet on kuddle.

Hello All My puppy 9 weeks old bites a lot. Vet says it's teething. How long do puppy's teeth? How do you inhibit them from biting your skin or injuring you? I have brought several toys but he only wants to play with people skin or clothes.
