1 year agoHi! I have a few doubts regarding diet of a 4 month old labrador: 1. Is chicken necessary in their diet or we can substitute it with vegetarian alternatives that act as a good protein source? 2. Should chapati (multigrain flour) be fed to them? 3. What quantity of ghee should be provided in a single day?2 likes•4 comments•20 views
2 years agoI take care of 5 abandoned street dogs. Off late 2 Male dogs can't stand each other and end up with serious fights when they come in contact. They are around 1 year old and neutered them last week. Hope they will pass through this phase.8 comments•28 views
2 years agoEat or Pass? 2. Milk We commonly tend to think that milk is a balanced food choice to fulfill all nutritional needs, and we tend to feed it to street dogs and our pets, BUT here's a plot twist. Most Dogs are lactose intolerant and cannot digest milk. It can cause negative reactions like vomiting, diarrhea, and loose stools. They don't even need milk nutritionally after the weaning period. Other dairy products like curd and cheese are easily digestible but are better to be fed in moderation.6 likes•1 comments•21 views
