Hello, my 16 month old golden retriever seems to have developed a lump on the side just below his ribs. This is the first time I'm noticing it so it must have developed over the last couple days or so. It seems to be beneath the skin (nothing visible over the skin) and movable while examining. Could you please suggest what to do? It doesn't seem to pain or affect him at this point.

Since how many days you have noticing ? Whether it’s hard or soft??

Thank you for responding doctor. Noticed it just this morning. It's soft and movable when he's standing and kind of firm when he's sitting

Whether any injections given on that area??

He got his booster doses about 3-4 weeks ago and it was given in the back region but I can't remember clearly if it was on this same side.

I’d say you show it to a vet, without physical examination/biopsy can’t say it’s a tumor or an abscess

Hey all, looking for an urgent foster for a 2.5 month old male indie pup. He gets along great with both dogs and cats, is yet to be vaccinated, and needs to find an adopter/*urgent* foster on or before the 20th. Please reach out if you think you can help and it would mean a lot! TIA
