I have 3 month old GSD pup. I'm struggling to get him to sleep on his own outside our bedroom. He refuses to sleep alone and creates a huge ruckus when i send him out for a few mins. How can I train him to sleep outside the room. Am at wits end. Would be grateful for any help

Crate train him, please. 3 months is too young to be expected to sleep alone since dogs in general look for company. Positive reinforcements during crate training helps them understand they are in a safe place and use the crate as a safe place. Would be happy to help in detail if required.

Thanks Niladri. He has made our room his sleep place and we dnt have the heart to take him out. He diligently steps outside and does his business on the pee pad when required. So we are continuing with him being with us

Is there any way or any device to notify the family members when a stray cat enters your petโ€™s boundaries(inside and outside home). To be specific anything like an alarm that could ring and scare away the stray cat, to ensure that they donโ€™t fight and hurt each other! My pet cat is scared and I want her to be safe. A little back story : The stray jumped in through the open window and started a fight in one of the rooms when people were not present in there. Surprisingly and randomly, someone entered the room and found out about the stray and injuries on both cats was avoided.

My 1.7 year old golden retriever hasn't been eating since few days, lethargic and puking out everything that he's eating (yellow puke). We went to the vet and he said he has throat infection and stomach upset and gave him some medicine and antibiotics. Should we visit another vet for second opinion or is it general symptoms of infection? I'm really worried because he never got sick till now and was always active.
