My puppy has been scratching herself for the last 4-5 days and has stopped eating since yesterday. What can I do for her?

Hello. Scratching is seen in case of presence of any skin infection which includes bacterial/fungal/mite infestation or it could also be due to atopic dermatitis. Stopping food is the first symptom shown by pets in any kind of underlying pathological condition. To discuss about both the issues, its advised to get your pet checked thoroughly by booking a home consultation with a vet to get appropriate treatment.

She gives those beautiful puppy eyes , which you can’t escape from . She has been given up by a family who had bought her from a breeder to us . We are looking for experienced families who has a clear understanding of the challenges of bringing up a puppy and can give the time and patience . Daily home cooked meat based diet is mandatory . She will do well with other dogs or as a second pet as well . If not neutered within a given age we have full rights to retain her back . She’s not fully pee trained.
