Cats are obligatory carnivores, which means they are strictly non vegetarian and require chicken/mutton/eggs/fish etc as the main component in their diet. Fortification of diet would be important if you are not giving commercial food because they have very specific taurine requirements, also the amount of protein required is very high. I would generally suggest giving some amount of dry food with fresh food rather than depending on supplements. If your pet doesn't like the one you've used try a new flvour.

Yes they do, specially tuna and chicken heart are good sources but it would be better if you can give some dry food along side to provide it in sufficient quantities.
