My 3-year-old dog (30-32 kg) was bitten by a stray dog today, leaving a deep wound. We are in a remote village and unable to visit a vet until the day after tomorrow. The bleeding has stopped, but he seems to be in pain.
So far, I’ve cleaned the wound with lukewarm water and saline and applied a diluted betadine. Since the wound is on the neck, he can’t lick it.
