What is better for a 45 days shih tzu puppy a harness or a leash?

You should purchase the leash with collar or harness. To start with you can take collar along with leash as puppy is very young and after 3-4 month you can get harness that would be better.

Hey Pet Parent, As the shihtzu is very young, you can either get a Cat harness to start with leash training, or you can use a soft collar just to get them acquainted to the collars but we don’t recommend pulling on the collars as at this age their neck region is very delicate.
