Hi Amrita. Here are some major symptoms shown by a pet when she goes into first heat. 1. Irritability 2. Anorexia/Reduced food intake 3. Swollen vulva 4. Bleeding from the vagina 5. Licking the genitals frequently 6. Shows more interest towards male dogs.
