hello doc, this street dog has been vomiting white foam since few days as the vet said gave him ondem and zymopet.. but today he puked and vomit blood.. took him to the hospital he was injected and given IV fluid saying he's food poisoned? his food and water is withheld but he's craving for food and water (he refused when given he wanna drink it but can't) will he be fine till tomorrow? any suggestions for him treatment? when should I feed him??
Hi Kriss. If he is on IV fluids, you can stop giving him solid food. Instead, feed him water mixed with electrolytes powder (Ordelyte). It’s best to give IV fluids and injections for another 3 to 4 days. You can slowly start feeding him liquid diet by tom or day after tom.
