Hi Priyanka, like humans every dog also has different behavioural traits, not everyone would want to socialize. That said, it could also be due to some prior trauma before you brought him home. We would suggest that you schedule a session with behaviour expert who can interact with your pet and help you in your parenting journey.

You'll have to be patient with him, not every dog is the same, my dog too was very shy and liked being alone. I worked with him slowly to socialize with people and other dogs. Take it slow, don't worry. There's nothing wrong with him

I was also experienced same as you said, on those days even I was bit worried! But later I understood and observed patiently for some days, my dog wants only her family(home members). Unfortunately and unplanned we bought Rottweiler's, we hold her strongly and made them to smell each other to make friends. While in the process she was shivering lot but still we hold her tight, finally we made it. Now she deals with Rottweiler not only mine she voluntarily plays with other pet too with leash and collar free.
